The word "Orphan" rings a bell in all our hearts, Emotions stir, affections surface to our core but somehow the purpose of the whole turmoil of the heart does not get translated into actual action for the children for whom the heart had cried out at the first place.
Generally it has been observed that all the activity that gets generated around these beautiful young souls end up with media hype and press buzz and eventually die down.

Aanand Ashram welcomes you with open arms to come and be a part of this serene atmosphere and spend a few hours with our children. There are 24 wards with us between the age group of 4 - 12years. Often the laughter and hymns of our children fill the ashram with an ecstatic charm. These children feel at home here. We urge you to love them and make them feel wanted
Anandha Ashram is set amidst lush green habitat. Where ever you look you enjoy the sight of fruiting and flowering trees. The produce of the vegetable garden supplies the basic needs of the ashram. The products are natural and free of any chemicals hence have a natural flavor and freshness in the taste.
Our children not only are learning the routine education but are also proficient gardeners and horticulturalist. Tomatoes, brinjals are often grown by the children themselves.
At the Ashram all the 24 kids receive education from class 1st to 10th standard. Majority of the children are registered into a local primary government school. The rest continuing in Private English medium school. The children syllabus includes Mathematics, Science and Telegu.
Every Sunday, the children participate in Vedaparayana & Homam under the guidance of two graduates from the Varanasi Vedic School. These Gurus from Varanasi teach the students about the Culture, traditions and rituals. Even four year old in the ashram can recite hymns and sing devotional songs quite beautifully.
With abundant space available to these kids. They are often seen playing Cricket and other robust games. For the smaller ones, swings and other rides are made available.
Although Dharmasamsthapana, with support from friends and likeminded individuals, manages to provide educational material such as Books, Pens, Uniforms etc., medical, and food supplies. The children still face a crunch when it comes to amenities such as soaps, toothpastes, electricity, drinking water, recurring maintenance expenses, etc. for basic hygiene and sanitation.
Also, the current living accommodation is made of tin-sheet roof, making it impossible for the children to manage extreme climatic conditions. Our long term programs include construction of CC rooms and toilets. It is not very difficult for anyone to imagine the kind of resources required for the upkeep of 24 children.
Our Endeavour at The Aanand Ashram is to make these children proud citizens of our country. They should never feel bereft of opportunity to successes in life.
We humbly request each one of you to come forward with liberal monetary support so that these children of god can blossom and spread their wings. They will thank you for your support in their heart and will always spread happiness in turn, just because of you.
