Chapter 3. Karma-yoga - TEXT 5: As Arjuna enquires, Krsna now explains -
"na hi kascit ksanam api
jatu tisthaty akarma-krt
karyate hy avasah karma
sarvah prakrti-jair gunaih"
PURPORT : It is not a question of embodied life, but it is the nature of the soul to be always active.
Without the presence of the spirit soul, the material body cannot move. The body is only a dead vehicle to
be worked by the spirit soul, which is always active and cannot stop even for a moment. As such, the spirit
soul has to be engaged in the good work of Devotional Services, otherwise it will be engaged
in occupations dictated by illusory energy. In contact with material energy, the spirit soul acquires material
modes, and to purify the soul from such affinities it is necessary to engage in the prescribed duties enjoined
in the sastras.

Who are we?
We are a dedicated and committed organization formed with the support
of like-minded friends and devotees. The volunteers come from a cross section of the society,
Software Professionals, Doctors, Engineers, Pizza delivery boys, Students and also Business Men.
Hi-Tech lifestyle and increased materialism has the current generation restless
and racing against time. Lack of interest in our own Culture and Traditions made
us strangers for our own DHARMA. Today most of the X-Generations parents are
not able to answer simple questions asked by kids, like - why we wear Tilak or Bindi?
, Why women put Haldi on feet?, Why we should break Coconut in Temples? , etc.
Time and interest factors are the main reasons and the influence of Western civilization
have over took ours.
We have been kept away from our traditions. Over night we can not change the present
rotten westernized culture, but sure we can change tomorrow and in future.
Dharmasamsthapana has set up long term goals to refurbishment of our multicultural
lifestyle for the future generation in literal words "OUR KIDS - OUR FUTURE".

Role of the Temples and the Need for Protection
Inspired by Scholars, Preached by Priests and Supported by you

up Devotional Services. A volunteer organization to protect and
perform Dhupa Dheepa Naivedhyam in all those 32000 temples which are in dire
situation.
Temples are our only institutions where Traditions, Culture and
spiritual discourses are preached. From the ancient period temples
holding prime role in preserving and teaching lifestyle and also
played vital role in providing education, medical, moral values.
Temples are cultural centers which have kept our traditions alive
and introduce devotion and faith to generations after generations.
We have seen God in its idols, got peace in its environment.
The noblest element in a person is brought out by the technique
of spiritual living. It is, thus, not a question of option left
to people or a theme to be discussed as to whether it is necessary
or unnecessary, for it is the only meaning of all existence. Temples
that teach this science and art of life are the spiritual organisations
of the world and their existence is naturally a 'must' for the benefit
and the peace, plenty and prosperity of mankind.
Due to some departments and few selfish people motives temples have
become commercials centers few are totally destructed rest are closed.
Endowment department, a Frankenstein created by us, whose methodology is leading to dilution
of the sanctity, and piety of the temples. Authority in hands of different undeserving people
(Government) who are just doing their duty as a profession at temples than having bondage with
the temple has only created complexities, negligence leading to mismanagement.
These being reasons today 32000 temples are dire situation, minimum aradhana (rituals) like Dhupa, Dheepa,
Naivedhyam are not performed.
Let us join hands for sake of Hinduism

Aims and objectives of Dharma Samsthapana.
1. Adopting temples which are in dire condition and maintain minimum
rituals like Dheepa, Dhupa, Naivadhyam.
2. Support to Archakas, those who are in ominous condition and quitting
Archakathwam due inactivity of Temples.
3. Prevent Hindus conversions into other religions. Organizing Spiritual
and cultural value awareness programs for youth to avoid them in
involving in antisocial elements.
