Where Money goes from Temple-Hundi?
Stop Dropping Money in HUNDI, Donate it in material form instead for Construction or other developments on your own.
We visit Temple we have the devotion to make a monetary offering into the Hundi. We saved this money painfully over years and in several cases enduring pangs of hunger to make this offering. That is the extent of our devotion.
Are you aware that this money that is offered will be slips into the Department hands "converts" it into "secular money" and use it for any projects than Temple development.
Not only Chilkur Balaji Temple but over 32500 temples are in problem fraudulent Government Schemes draining out temples money and encroaching temple lands under various schemes. This ruthless act of Govt. has cut down income of temples which could not perform the minimum rituals in temples and other development activities.
The temples are constructed by philanthropists and the department collects entry fees and making the temples as commercial places, dens of corruption defeating the very cause of its establishment. Over 32000 employees of the endowment department are paid through the offerings of the devotees, who are more interested in personal agenda rather than the service to the Temples and have no respect, reverence or bhakthi in there discharge of their duties to the deity. The biggest obstacle in the path of development of Hindu Dharma and temples is the endowment department only.
In the name of secularism, our administration contributes for the construction of non-hindu prayer halls but our temples have to contribute its earning to the coffers under various heads. The temples had become a source of earnings and also to gain control over the millions exploiting the common believer through interference in management claiming to be secular.
